In this week’s roundup, we look at models of the “iPhone 13,” discuss the prospect of an “M2” chip in 2022, and that the Touch Bar may not be around much longer according to one analyst.

‘iPhone 13’ dummy units, ‘M2’ in 2022, and Touch Bar’s days are numbered
A large segment of this week’s episode deals with the dummy units for the “iPhone 13” that we received, models that could give us more of an idea of what to expect with this fall’s releases. The biggest changes in the models are the smaller TrueDepth camera notch on the front, the camera bump arrangement on the back, and larger cameras.
We also discuss the future of Apple Silicon, including one rumor that the “M2” chip could arrive in 2022, as part of a new MacBook Air. The line refresh will also apparently be “colorful,” most likely mimicking the variety offered for the 24-inch iMac.
Lastly, there’s a supply chain analyst who claims the Touch Bar is on borrowed time, and could disappear in future MacBook Pro models.
